Is ChartMRR the same as TrustMRR?
No. TrustMRR is the verified-revenue marketplace and database. ChartMRR is a separate product that snapshots that data and turns it into charts, compare, careers, watches, and milestones. Outbound TrustMRR links may include our affiliate ref so supporting ChartMRR also supports continued use of TrustMRR.
Are ChartMRR ranks the same as TrustMRR ranks?
Not exactly. Chart ladders are computed from startups for sale in ChartMRR’s catalog, ordered by the sort you pick — usually 30-day revenue. TrustMRR’s own rank may still show on profiles or compare as metadata. If a peer is missing from our catalog, it will not appear in our ladder.
Does ChartMRR only show startups for sale?
Yes for discovery — charts, search, sitemap, milestone feeds, and startup profiles only show listings currently for sale on TrustMRR. If a startup leaves the market we keep its snapshot history (so stats aren’t wiped) but hide the profile and other surfaces until it lists again.
How does Compare work?
Cohorts compare two slices of the market (for example AI vs SaaS or Europe vs US). Startups shortlist specific listings side by side with asking price, multiples, growth, and more. Footer presets jump straight into common cohort battles.
What counts as a milestone?
Detected events from snapshot history: crossing MRR, ARR, or 30-day revenue thresholds, entering global top tiers, taking #1 in a category, or a real weekly climb once we have ~6+ days between comparison points. See /milestones. We suppress fake “this week” cards when history is still too shallow. Anonymous / stealth listings still get milestone cards on-site, but we only post for-sale named startups on X.
Can I embed a milestone on my site?
Yes. Open a milestone share page, use Embed, and paste the iframe snippet (similar spirit to a Product Hunt embed). Framing is allowed on the embed route so it works on external homepages.
How do watches and email alerts work?
On a startup profile, enter an email to watch that slug — no account. When milestones are created for it, ChartMRR can email watchers (when email delivery is configured). We use the address for those alerts and related transactional mail, not to sell a list. Details in Privacy.
What is the ChartMRR newsletter?
The footer Newsletter link opens a signup form. Subscribers get a weekly digest of verified movers and milestones. That list is separate from watching a specific startup — you can do either, both, or neither. Unsubscribe anytime via hello@chartmrr.com.
A startup I care about is missing. What do I do?
Paste its TrustMRR URL or slug into search on the homepage, or open /startup/their-slug. That can import or refresh the profile. For systemic coverage gaps, email hello@chartmrr.com.
